Original artwork by Tywana ‘Nunj’ Caldwell
Medium: Acrylic on stretched canvas, with shadow box framing
Year: 2023

Tywana Caldwell is a local Bundjalung woman living on Widjabul Wiabul country. She predominantly works in digital art, bridging the gap between the stories of the 21st century and physical creations of previous generations. She incorporates the use of bold and bright colours to honour her involvement in the queer community.

These paintings are one-of-a-kind limited edition. The majority of Val’s work gets turned into digital prints, creating accessibility for art purchases. However, these pieces will not be reproduced. Making them perfect for the fine art collector.

We live and work on the unceded lands of the Widjabul Wiabul people. We move in respect with the Elders, the Country and the Water. May we invoke change in the people of the colony so our lore may flourish and heal the land and its people.
